Born in Tokyo in 1973. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Sculpture in 1996. Among young artists, his work is very popular and he is a famous contemporary sculptor. The contemporary art market is the main venue for presentations, but on the other hand, since his first exhibition in 1994 while studying at Tama Art University, he has been participating in the Nika Exhibition for about 20 years. Miyake is known as a wood sculptor who confronts trees and explores the form of second life through repeated dialogue. His famous works include the “YOGA” series, which has been worked on for more than a decade, and the recent “God statue sculpture” series, which reveals the spirits and gods in the trees.
